Itinerary:

Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat

Upon your arrival, we will pick you up and proceed to Casablanca, where you’ll visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, the largest outside Mecca. Enjoy a stroll along the Corniche seaside before heading to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. In Rabat, explore the Hassan Tower and the Oudaya Kasbah before checking into your Riad at the heart of the Medina. Overnight stay in our Hotel/Riad.

Day 2: Rabat – Chefchaouen

After a delicious breakfast, embark on the journey to Chefchaouen. Arriving in the midday, explore the medina of Chefchaouen, a unique city with white-washed walls and blue doors and windows. The city, influenced by Spanish civilization, offers a blend of charm and architecture. Immerse yourself in the local culture, meet the residents, and wander through this beautiful Medina. Overnight stay in your Riad.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

After breakfast, depart to explore Volubilis, the Roman ruins, and Moulay Idriss, the holy town. Continue to Meknes for a tour of the Medina, including El Hdim square, Bab El Mansour, the Jewish quarter, the Royal Granaries, and the city rampart. Spend the night in your accommodation.

Day 4: Exploring Fes

Start your day with breakfast in the Riad, then explore the oldest city in Morocco. Visit the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish quarter, and the first Mellah ever built in Morocco. Explore sites of cultural and historical interest, including the Al Qaraouine University, the Tanneries, and the Attarine museum. After lunch, visit the new city, “La Ville nouvelle,” for a refreshing drink. Overnight stay in our Hotel/Riad.

Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Errachidia – Merzouga

Depart from Fes to Ifrane, often referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco.” Witness glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains during the journey. Make stops at Azrou, a Berber village in the cedar forest, and experience the Tizi Ntalghamt Pass to Midelt. Continue through the Ziz Gorges, enjoying views of the High Atlas plateau. Arrive in Merzouga via Errachidia and Erfoud. Experience the luxuriant Ziz Valley and check into your Riad in the afternoon.

Day 6: Merzouga Area and the Camel Trek

After breakfast, explore the area, visiting the Gnawa people and the lake of Merzouga. Consider a visit to the nomad wire house for Berber handicrafts. In the afternoon, embark on a camel trek guided by an experienced camel man to explore the sand sea of Merzouga. Enjoy dinner in front of the tent, equipped with flash-toilets and a shower, where you’ll spend the night.

Day 7: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges – Ouarzazate

Wake up early for a breathtaking sunrise and a camel-trek back to Merzouga. After breakfast, head to Rissani, Tinghir, and Todra Gorges—the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. Lunch in the heart of the gorge precedes a drive through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazate. Journey through the way of the thousand Kasbahs and stop at Kalaa Mgouna, “the rose city,” for rosewater. Overnight stay in our Hotel/Riad.

Day 8: Ouarzazate – Ait ben Haddou – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech – Essaouira

Explore the Kasbah of Taourirt in Ouarzazate and visit the fortified city of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue through the High Atlas Mountains with stops for scenic photographs. Arrive in Marrakech and later depart for Essaouira. Enjoy the evening in a local Riad.

Day 9: Marrakech – Essaouira

Explore Essaouira with visits to Skala Fortress, the port, the souks, and the Mellah—the Jewish quarter. Wander through the medina and experience the town’s characteristic blue doors and washed walls. Enjoy lunch Moroccan-style with freshly caught fish. After a free afternoon for exploration, return to Marrakech for an overnight stay in a Riad in the Medina.

Day 10: Marrakech – Casablanca

Spend the morning at leisure for shopping or relaxation in Marrakech before departing mid-afternoon for Casablanca. Arrive in Casablanca by 4 pm or according to your convenience. End of the trip.
